I think you have to look deeper into Wikipedia to understand that there is a real issue with “accuracy”. Basically the rules themselves create a situation where the better you know the rules, the more weight you can put to your side of the argument. Because there are rules (and acronyms) to such extent that most people will immediately give up on trying to understand it all when faced with a challenge from someone who has taken the years to do it, a small elite of dedicated (and at times fanatic) editors run the show. In Wikipedia rules rule, not facts. It is a social game of sort, where information is used as the buttons. Unfortunately, oftentimes merely to push ones own perspective fiercely forward.

Rampant bias is everywhere you look on Wikipedia, right below the surface. This is rather disturbing, given the site and its articles rank #1 on a very large number of searches in Google.
